As a performer, as a teacher & as a person, my philosophy is simple:

Be Kind.
Be Genuine.

Be Creative.

A Little About Me:

My name is Kathryn (she/her) and I'm an AEA actress, singer, dancer & song scout bouncing between the San Francisco Bay Area and NYC.  I grew up in a very large, very loud, Greek family, who taught me the value of laughter and storytelling from the moment I was born. I spent my childhood tap dancing, competative Greek dancing, and watching as many old Hollywood musical as I could get my hands on (mostly Gene Kelly & Danny Kaye)! My humor is an eclectic mix of SNL bits, Mel Brooks' The Producers, & quoting the classic film - Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I earned my BA in Musical Theatre from California State University, Chico & in my time there I fell in love with puppeteering, prop-mastering, creative non-fiction writing, and stage combat. After graduation I joined the professional company of the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre on the banks of the Mississippi River in Clinton, Iowa & then spent a few fabulous years living in NYC. I recently moved back to the West Coast & am beyond grateful to dive back into California's vibrant art scene!

I'm a teaching artist at various schools and arts programs around the Bay Area - and am currently coreographing  ONCE UPON A MATTRESS at The Kehillah School, SHREK with The Players (SfArtsED), and THE PROM at San Francisco University High School!
